Creative Arts students from Southwark College took part in a sustainable fashion project hosted by London Knitwear brand AGR in partnership with Nike. The community event, entitled A Day @ AGR HQ: CUSTOMISE > COLLABORATE > CURATE > CAPTURE, allowed young people to work with leaders, designers and creatives in the fashion industry.

Supported Learning Students from Southwark College participated in the Twenty Thrive exhibition, celebrating 25 years of Young Vic stage shows. The exhibition was curated and designed by young creatives from Southwark and Lambeth. They worked with multi-disciplinary artists, Myah Jeffers and QianEr Jin to celebrate and explore The Young Vic's role in shaping the local community.

Southwark College joined the fifth Colleges Week, organised by the Association of Colleges (AoC), to shine a light on all the impactful work that colleges do to build communities, boost businesses, and support individuals to be equipped with the skills they need to achieve their career ambitions. This year's celebration focused on staff, students and skills. During the week, staff and students participated in various activities to support the AoC's 'Love Our Colleges' campaign, including a live dance performance choreographed by dance students inspired by Black Culture.
