Southwark College marked Inter Faith Week with a lively event, organised jointly by the Student Union and the Student Experience Team. The occasion celebrated the College’s diverse community and aimed to foster understanding, connection, and shared values among students from different faiths and cultural backgrounds.

Attendees enjoyed taking part in an interactive Kahoot quiz, designed to spark conversation and raise awareness of a wide range of global religions, traditions, and beliefs. The quiz created a friendly, engaging atmosphere as students competed to test and expand their knowledge.

In addition to the quiz, the event supported a meaningful cause: a collection of non-perishable food items for the local food bank. Students and staff generously contributed to help families in need, reflecting the College’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and charitable engagement. Participants valued the opportunity to connect with peers, learn something new, and reflect on the principles of respect, diversity, and compassion that Inter Faith Week embodies.

The Student Union and Student Experience Team thanked everyone who attended and contributed to the food collection, highlighting how even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Looking ahead, the College is excited to build on this event in future years, creating more opportunities to celebrate the diversity, inclusion, and shared values that make the Southwark College community so special.
