You can apply for a course by clicking on the ‘Apply’ button which appears on each course page. (Or if you prefer you can request a printed form by calling us on 0203 757 4000.)
This is what will happen once you’ve applied:
You’ll be invited to come in for a chat with one of our staff to make sure the course is right for you
You may need to complete an assessment for some courses (such as ESOL) to make sure you’re on a course at the right level
We’ll offer you a place on an appropriate course
You’ll need to accept the offer to secure a place
We’ll invite you to enrolment (usually in August, unless your course starts at a different time during the year)
At enrolment you’ll pay any fees needed (if you are 19+), be given your student ID card and find out your start date and timetable. You'll find details of our main enrolment days on our homepage over the summer
Data protection
The information you provide on your application form will be recorded and used in adherence with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. It will be collected and used for the specified, explicit and legitimate purpose of application to study at Southwark College.

Coronavirus update
Southwark College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available. This information is for students and staff and reflects updates from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England (PHE). We are prepared to escalate our contingency arrangements in the event of change.
The government is monitoring the situation closely and will continue to work with the WHO and international community. For staff and students, it remains business as usual across our sites and our workplaces.
Please note that, at present, this advice refers only to arrivals from Wuhan, and not the remainder of China. If you have returned from Wuhan you should:
Call NHS 111 to inform them of your recent travel to the city. Students should also notify their GP.
Self-isolate for a total period of 14 days following arrival from Wuhan – avoiding contact with other people in the same way as you would in the case of ‘flu. You should do this whether or not you are experiencing any symptoms.
