Educational partnerships
At Southwark College, we are passionate about connecting with schools and supporting students as they plan their next steps in education. Through our Educational Partnerships, we provide a range of opportunities for students to experience college life, explore courses, and gain insight into the pathways available after school.
What we can offer your school:
-
Presentations: Talks tailored to whole year groups or smaller classroom sessions, helping students understand post-16 options.
-
Parents, Options, and Post-16 Evenings: Our team can attend school events to provide information and guidance to students and parents about progression to college or apprenticeships.
-
Lunchtime or breaktime drop-ins: Set up a stand in your lunch hall or library so students can access information and ask questions about courses, entry requirements, and upcoming events.
-
Careers Fairs: We can bring curriculum areas to your careers fair, offering advice on pathways and courses suited to students’ interests.
-
Subject-focused events: Talks or activities on specific vocational areas, delivered at your school or at the College.
-
Visits, tours, taster sessions and workshops: Students are welcome to visit the College to explore facilities, meet lecturers, and take part in practical learning experiences.
Our dedicated Schools and Transition Coordinator is always available to discuss your school’s specific requirements and organise visits or events tailored to your students’ needs.
