Students at Southwark College came together for a memorable evening of celebration at the annual Prom, marking the end of an exciting chapter and the beginning of new opportunities ahead.

The College was transformed into a vibrant prom venue as students arrived dressed to impress, ready to celebrate their achievements alongside friends, classmates and staff. The evening was filled with music, dancing, delicious food and plenty of photo opportunities, creating lasting memories to mark the end of the academic year.

The event provided an opportunity for students to reflect on everything they have accomplished during their time at Southwark College, from academic success and personal growth to the friendships and experiences that have shaped their journeys.

Adding to the celebrations, the Students' Union hosted a series of fun awards voted for by students, including Best Dressed, Best Dancer and Prom Royalty. The awards sparked plenty of excitement and laughter, helping to make the evening even more special.

As students prepare for their next steps in higher education, apprenticeships, employment and further training, the prom served as a fitting tribute to their hard work, resilience and achievements throughout the year.

The evening concluded with a final group photograph on the dance floor, bringing the Class of 2026 together for one last celebration before embarking on exciting new opportunities in education, training and employment.

Congratulations to all of our students. We wish you every success in the future and look forward to seeing where your journeys take you next.
