Southwark College is pleased to announce that students obtained top grades on their A-Levels and BTECs this year, while celebrations also took place across the College as students achieved top grades on GCSEs results day. Many BTEC students achieved the highest results possible, receiving three distinction stars. A record number of A-Level students also celebrated success in attaining top marks in their exams.

Jane Button, Principal at Southwark College, said: “I am very pleased to say that the hard work of students at Southwark College has paid off.

“Our students have demonstrated exceptional work ethic and dedication to achieve these results. Congratulations to all students who have completed their A-Level, vocational studies and GCSEs this year – you have done the College proud. I wish the students best of luck in their next steps, whether that is in higher education or employment and look forward to seeing them succeed in their chosen career.”

Jemima Burden, A-Level student and Officer of the College’s Student Union, achieved AAA for her A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. She said: “I am very happy with the results I have achieved! I would like to thank the teachers and staff at Southwark College for all their help over the past two years. With the grades I have gained, I am going on to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Surrey.”
