Southwark College is looking forward to welcoming prospective students to the next Virtual Open Days events, where they will get a flavour of student life at the College. 

Various events will cover a range of curriculum areas, including Creative Arts, Health & Social Care, Science & Maths, Travel & Tourism, Professional, ESOL, IELTS and English, Supported Learning, Access to Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Employability and Distance Learning.

Attendees to the events will be able to speak with teachers about the College’s range of courses, meet the Principal, learn about its modern facilities and student support, and receive information, advice and guidance from the Student Services and Careers teams.

Commenting on the next Virtual Open Days, Principal Annette Cast, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming prospective students to our virtual events. 

“At Southwark College, we are committed to helping all of our students achieve their goals and preparing them for future study or to enter the world of work by offering an inspiring range of courses, work experience opportunities and excellent student support services.”

Young people and adults who are looking to explore their future options and learn more about the College’s application process are welcome to attend the events. 

The next Virtual Open days will be on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 November. To attend, visit southwark.ac.uk/opendays and register for the sessions you are interested in. Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive a web link and details of how to join the sessions closer to the event.

Coronavirus update

Southwark College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available. This information is for students and staff and reflects updates from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England (PHE). We are prepared to escalate our contingency arrangements in the event of change.
