The ‘Creative Fashion Recycling Workshop’ focused on upcycling and recycling, showing students how they can transform their old clothing, reduce waste and limit the environmental impact of their fashion purchases.

The students work collaboratively, with their teachers to organise and curate the exhibition which included a series of paintings and sculptures created by the students inspired by artwork they have previously seen in museums and galleries in London.

Coronavirus update

Southwark College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available. This information is for students and staff and reflects updates from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England (PHE). We are prepared to escalate our contingency arrangements in the event of change.
