Hire of facilities

We have a wide range of high quality facilities available for hire to businesses, charities and individuals in our local communities. If you’re planning an event, meeting, performance or party, our facilities could be the perfect choice. Ranging from contemporary spaces to hi-tech demonstration kitchens to a full-sized theatre, the facilities are located at Southwark campuse.

Times and costs

Southwark College facilities: 8am to 9pm on Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm on Friday

Room hire is also available outside these times and at weekends (although there may be additional costs).

  • Drama Studio Southwark

    Contemporary drama studio featuring hi-tech lighting, sound and AV equipment and curtaining partitions. This space can be set up for a range of performance styles with seating in rows or surrounding a central stage.

  • Classroom

    We have a range of classrooms available for hire to accommodate different sized groups. All classrooms are equipped with high quality presentation facilities and can be set up in a variety of formats, accommodating up to 25 people.

  • Atrium

    Large, airy atrium featuring a stunning contemporary design: the perfect location for a memorable drinks reception or other large-scale event. This flexible space can be furnished with food and drink counters, tables and chairs etc, and will accommodate up to 275 people.

Coronavirus update

Southwark College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available. We are prepared to escalate our contingency arrangements in the event of change.
