Art and Business departments at Southwark College came together to celebrate Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) with an Art Therapy session and a photographic and painting exhibition put together by Business and Art and Design students.

Southwark College has announced a new partnership with record label Anjunabeats. Through this collaboration, work experience placements were set up for Music Performance and Production students where they had the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day running of an international record company, network with influential figures and see the diverse range of careers available within this field.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, two-thirds of young people in the UK have reported a deterioration in their mental health during the lockdown. Students from Southwark College have responded to this by setting up a weekly wellness club to improve students’ mental health.
