This qualification has been developed to provide an introduction to the standards required when working in Administration. This qualification therefore includes a number of units spanning a range of knowledge and skills sets within Administration and is aimed to help learners to stretch grow and leap.

    Entry Requirements

    Age 19+ Either GCSE English grade 1/F or above Functional Skills English L1 or successful completion of a Level L1 qualification in a related subject. Plus an initial assessment that indicates an appropriate level of English ability a satisfactory reference.

    Assessment Method

    Students are assessed through activities that are internally set by tutors. These include role play practical demonstration report writing group discussion essay written question/answer.

    Aims of the course

    The aims of the course are: - To help students who wish to progress to/within further education - To help students develop advance learning - To help students who are seeking to enter or return to work after unemployment

    Progression Opportunities

    Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to progress to Level 3 courses and also to employment. Applicants are advised to enrol on GCSE English and Maths if they want to progress to Access to HE Diploma.

    Facilities

    The model of delivery will be classroom-based learning. You will have access to our digital learning platforms that will provide you with a range of materials and resources to support your learning whilst on this course. Individual tutorial support is available. Additional learning support is also available if required.

    Career Options

    Upon completion you could choose to enter employment in Marketing Finance and Business and Business Administration related careers.

Coronavirus update
