    2 paper-based exams and practical assessments.

    Aims of the course

    A Pearson Edexcel GCSE Biology will provide students with a distinct Science GCSE qualification. It is suitable for anyone wishing to obtain a GCSE in the field of Science but is especially suitable for students looking to pursue further scientific study in Biology or to more technical careers such as medicine dentistry physiology genetics and epidemiology as well as those wishing to train as a Primary teacher.

    Progression Opportunities

    Upon successful completion of this one-year programme you may be able to study on an Access to HE course.
