Late enrolment
If you would like to become a student for a course starting this term, you can drop in to our campus for a late enrolment session to find out more about the courses with places available.
Many of our courses starting in September are now full and late places are subject to availability, so we advise you to attend a late enrolment session as soon as possible.
For 16-18 courses, open enrolment is still on for ESOL Young and T Levels. Adult open enrolment is on for all courses.
If you only need information, advice and guidance you can visit us during our opening hours of 9am – 5pm. However, to secure your place you might be asked to return during an enrolment session so that you can speak with a teacher.

Alternatively, if you would like to become a student on a course starting from January 2025 then you can apply by clicking the Apply Now button next to the course you are interested in on this website. Once your application has been processed you will then be invited to attend an enrolment appointment for courses starting next year. How do I choose the right course for me?
Our Information, Advice and Guidance team will be able to talk through your options with you before you join the course when you attend enrolment or drop in to the campus. If you need any information in the meantime, browse our Courses or speak to us using our chat box.
What is enrolment?
Enrolment will confirm your place on a course, the level of course you should take, any fees you might be asked to pay and start date for your course, along with any other information you need to know. This is also where you will receive your learner agreement and student ID card. To complete your enrolment promptly, please remember to bring:
- A copy of your enrolment invitation either on your phone or printed
- A pen
- Payment method to pay for any fees due (if applicable)
- All documentation requested to complete your enrolment. Please visit our Enrolment Checklist page for general information on what documentation to bring.
You might also be asked to bring:
- NARIC conversions if your qualifications were not obtained in the UK (we can help you with this if you do not have the conversion information)
- DBS or employer information if you are over 18 and applying for a course where this would be required, such as Healthcare, Teaching or Childcare
- Any statement of Educational Needs or Education Health and Care Plan if applicable to you.
Places are limited and subject to availability and meeting eligibility requirements.
The College has strict limits on capacity in the building so please do not bring children or other family members with you, unless you are 16-18-year old and bringing a parent/carer with you or an adult who needs support to complete your enrolment. If you need to bring children we would ask you to bring another adult with you so they can wait with them in an alternative area whilst you complete your enrolment.
There is no parking on Campus but you can park in the surrounding streets (charges may be payable). If you are using Public Transport, please check the TFL website to ensure you follow their guidance whilst travelling to and from the College.

Can I apply after my GCSE results?
You can make an application on the day or after you have received your results. Visit our Course Explorer page and select the course you wish to apply for.

What will happen at Enrolment?
This will depend on your chosen course and whether you’ve already applied or completed pre-enrolment. However, you could be asked to:
- Complete an application form or enrolment form
- Interview with an academic tutor to check through your academic evidence and confirm the course you would like to enrol on
- Processing by our Admissions team, including taking your photo for your College ID card
You may also have:
- English and maths assessments, if you are not able to provide evidence of your English and maths GCSE grades. These assessments are not exams, they’re just to check your current level to ensure we enrol you on the right course
- Discussion with our Additional Learning Support team if required
- Fee assessment if required.
Our Guidance & Progression team, Apprenticeships team and Childcare Bursary advisors will also be available to give you support and advice.

How long will it take to enrol?
This will depend on if you have applied already or completed an online pre-enrolment or English and maths assessment. If not, you should expect to be with us for around two hours if you do not take taking an English or maths assessment. If you are taking an English or maths assessment, these will take an additional hour each.
We will do all we can to make things run as smoothly and quickly as possible but please be patient it’s important we cover everything properly at enrolment in order to avoid issues later on.

When do courses begin?
Your start date will depend on what you course you enrol on. However, all of our courses begin week commencing 7 September. You will be given your start date, along with your course timetable, at enrolment.

How do I apply for a course?
You can apply for a course using our Online Application or browsing our courses on the website using our Course Explorer and selecting the application button next to the course you would like to apply for.
