    Entry Requirements

    Evidence of previous experience or study in creative media at an appropriate level. 4 GCSEs at grade four or above including English and mathematics.

    Assessment Method

    Continuous assessment: by practical film TV design and animation study and assessment by project completion online portfolio submission presentations written research projects group work.

    Aims of the course

    The Level 3 UAL Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology has been designed to provide students with the skills knowledge and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study and employment in the creative media sector.

    Progression Opportunities

    This qualification will support students to progress or transition to the Level 3 UAL Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology .

    Facilities

    The programme is delivered through a mixture of lessons workshops and projects and happens - in the classrooms in the studios off-site in trips to creative venues and businesses in projects with external partners.

    Career Options

    The primary purpose of the diploma is to aid students to progress to further learning. However the transferable skills and knowledge developed as part of this qualification will support students to progress into appropriate entry level roles or higher apprenticeships in the creative sector. This qualification attracts UCAS tariff points and therefore may be recognised by higher education providers as meeting admission requirements either in its own right or alongside other Level 3 qualifications to many relevant courses.
