Learner support

The Wellbeing Service assists our learners to manage their health, mental health and emotions with the aim of giving them the best chance of success at college and in the future. We also work with staff and parents to promote the health and wellbeing of our learners.

We provide:

·         a safe and private space to discuss concerns

·         counselling

·         coaching

·         general health advice and referral

·         sexual health clinic

·         liaison with and referral to external services

·         assistance with joining and remaining in college

We welcome disclosures about wellbeing concerns as a step towards finding a solution. We are mindful of our responsibility to respect the sensitive nature of information disclosed to us.

Coronavirus update

Southwark College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available.
