Offer Holder Information

Southwark College holds Offer Holder Days, which are quite different to Open Days. They provide you with the opportunity to ‘test drive’ your chosen course. Although the schedule for the day will vary, they typically include taster sessions, welcome talks and an opportunity for teachers to meet with you to talk through your next steps. As you will be taking part in these activities alongside other applicants, there are also activities throughout the day for you to meet others on your course before you arrive for Induction Week in September.

Each curriculum area plans their own programme, providing you with a schedule around activities relevant to your course. These tend to take place in the afternoon, giving you the morning to find out more about the Southwark College experience, attend general talks, visit our careers and student services hub, tour our campus and find out more about the area around Southwark College.

You will also be able to attend priority enrolment on the day and book a slot for any assessments you might need to take so that you can secure your place and collect your Induction Pack ready for your first day in September.

If you have applied for a course at Southwark College and have been offered a place you should receive a follow-up email from us with a link to our website to book on to the event. If you have not received this, or if you need any further information, please contact us.

Further information for 2020

The Southwark College campus is currently closed due to Coronavirus (Covid-19) with all staff and students working remotely. Where we are unable to hold an Offer Day, alternative arrangements will be made to complete these remotely with additional activities scheduled during enrolment/induction. Not all programmes run Offer Holder Days, where this is the case you will be invited to main enrolment in August or September.
