This course is designed to introduce you to a range of skills in music performance and production. At the same time, you will complete GCSE qualifications in maths and English.
The programme leads to the award of a Level 2 Progression Diploma in Music and Music Technology, along with pass grades in GCSE maths and English.

- Evidence of previous experience or study at an appropriate level in music or music technology.
Continuous assessment by practical work, projects, online portfolio, presentations, written research projects and group work.
Aims of the course
- To enable you to explore and develop a range of techniques used in music performance and production
- To give you the all-round skills you need to progress to level 3 study in creative media.
This qualification will prepare you to study on a Level 3 UAL Diploma in Music Performance and Production at Southwark College.
The programme is delivered through a mixture of lessons, workshops and projects. You will learn in our classrooms and specialist music studios, and benefit from trips to creative venues and getting involved in projects with external partners.
After further study, you can pursue a career in music performance or production.
