ESOL, English & Maths

This one year programme prepares students for the 9-1 Pearson Edexcel GCSE maths exam. Students need to be able to commit to 100% attendance, one 3hr session per week, plus at least three hours per week of private study.

Free to those that do not already have a C or above, or a 4 or above, otherwise fees of £362. Students studying a HE course will be charged £811, international students will be charged as listed above.

Courses are available at Lewisham Way and Southwark:

Lewisham Way Tuesdays 9.30 am - 12.30 pm Tuesdays 6 - 9 pm Wednesdays 1.30 - 4.30 pm

Southwark Wednesdays 1.30 - 4.30 pm Wednesdays 6 - 9 pm

Successful completion of an initial assessment of maths skills

    Assessment Method

    Final examination in June 2017. There are three mandatory papers and all candidates must sit all three: Thursday 25th May 2017 9am Thursday 8th June 2017 9am Tuesday 13th June 2017 9am There are no other options.

    GCSE mathematics is an essential qualification for most higher education courses as well as most careers across all sectors.

    Facilities

    This course is classroom based, with one 3 hour lesson per week. In addition, students should expect to spend at least three hours a week on private study/homework.

    All students will complete a diagnostic assessment at the start of the course to identify specific individual target areas. All students will have access to and are expected to complete work online to support their individual progress.
