This course suits those that have completed Edexcel BTEC Higher Nationals L4 and is designed to provide a specialist vocational programme, linked to professional body and National Occupational Standards where appropriate. It offers a strong, sector-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding. The qualifications provide a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in the sector and the national recognition by employers allows direct progression to employment.

You will be advised (step by step) on how to apply for university places on commencement of the course. The assessment of Edexcel BTEC Higher National qualifications is criterion-referenced and the learners will be assessed with evidence against published learning outcomes and assessment criteria through portfolios, exams and practical work.
