    Entry Requirements

    • Evidence of previous creative work in any of the following: visual art drawing painting printmaking at an appropriate level. - 4 GCSEs at Grade 2-3

    Assessment Method

    Continuous assessment by: practical work project completion online portfolio submission presentations written research projects and group work.

    Aims of the course

    The level 2 Progression Diploma has been designed to introduce you to a range of creative study in painting and drawing graphic design illustration sculpture and print making. During this course you will also complete GCSE qualifications in maths and English. This course will give you the all-round skills that you need in order to progress to level 3 study in fine art and creative media or fashion retail study.

    Progression Opportunities

    This qualification will prepare you to study on a UAL level 3 Diploma at Southwark College in: art & design fashion or creative media.

    Facilities

    The programme is delivered through a mixture of lessons workshops and projects and happens in the classrooms in the studios off-site in trips to creative venues and in projects with external partners.

    Career Options

    The primary purpose of this Diploma is to aid students to progress to further learning.
