Testimonial

" I’ve really grown up during my time at Southwark College. It’s a different mentality coming to college rather than a school and I like it. Southwark College also encourages students to become more involved in everyday college life and this includes Student Union, Course Representative and Student Ambassador.”

"Southwark College put me on the straight and narrow path as soon as I joined to study. They made me realise that the college is not like school. I have learned a lot at Southwark College and I’m extremely thankful for everything they have done for me"

Admissions
You must apply for a nursery place, but you can only apply for a place when you have been accepted onto the course.
You must have completed an Enrolment Form and have a Learning Agreement. As the demand for places is always greater
than the number of places available, and applicants are advised to investigate alternative childcare arrangements.

The criteria used to allocate places are:
•Learners who are current users and are entering the 2nd year of a 2 year course
•Applicants who are receiving benefits or are on a low income who:
have a disability or illness or learning difficulty
        are lone parents
are applying for an ESOL or Basic Skills  course
do not hold a level 2 qualification
•Applicants who are receiving benefits, JSA or are on low incomes.

Written proof will be required. Contact the appropriate Nursery for an Application Form.

Charges
Most learners will be eligible to apply to the Learner Support Fund for assistance with fees and will not pay
the full fees. A Learner Support Fund application should be returned with the Nursery Application Form.
