All students will have a named tutor who will be able to provide you with advice and guidance throughout your course.
We have our own Careers experts to advise learners and have links to employment services to assist you to find work and plan a career path.

Our Customer Service Centre staff are able to provide advice about a range of welfare issues and can help you to find someone to speak to if you are struggling with your course or have problems at home. The College can also assist you to access counselling services. For Students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, our Additional Learning Support team aims to offer you any help and support that you may need. Every applicant who declares a learning difficulty, disability or medical condition, will be assessed for your needs and to identify what support the College can offer.

Every applicant who declares a disability or a learning difficulty will be offered a confidential interview to assess what level of support the college can offer. The college will assess your individual equipment needs before your course begins. The kinds of equipment we can make available to you includes laptop computers, adapted keyboards, specialist mouse, memory sticks, Dictaphones, screen magnifiers, screen readers, minicoms, radio aids, a large range of specialist software as well as other modified equipment to meet a range of needs. We can also provide ergonomic chairs and/or adaptable desks.
The college can organise the services of an educational psychologist for purposes of specialist assessment, a Speech and Language therapist as well as a Physiotherapist if necessary for the successful completion of a chosen course.

Counselling Services - people go through difficult times when they may feel worried and are overwhelmed by problems or obstacles they feel they are facing. Sometimes they may turn to friends and relatives whilst on other occasions it can be more appropriate and helpful to discuss things with a counsellor because they are independent and can give objective advice.
