Testimonial

" I’ve really grown up during my time at Southwark College. It’s a different mentality coming to college rather than a school and I like it. Southwark College also encourages students to become more involved in everyday college life and this includes Student Union, Course Representative and Student Ambassador.”

"Southwark College put me on the straight and narrow path as soon as I joined to study. They made me realise that the college is not like school. I have learned a lot at Southwark College and I’m extremely thankful for everything they have done for me"

Message from the Interim Principal

Helping to choose the education for your child aged 16-18 can sometimes be very bewildering.  There are different types of institutions, many different subjects and a wide choice of courses and qualifications from which to select.  You are most likely to have many questions to ask.  How will they get to College?  What are the facilities like?  Will they make new friends?  What will they do all day?  What is the teaching like?  Do students do well? Will they have a tutor?  How much will it cost?  Will there be a contact point for parents?

At Southwark College, we understand that parents play an important role in the education of their child and we will ensure that you are involved throughout their education. We have special evenings when parents can come to the College to discuss their child’s progress. We also issue individual learning plans and reports so that your child can keep track of their success. Hopefully through this site, you will be able to gather all the information you need, but if you still have any unanswered questions, please feel free to contact our information team on 0207 815 1600 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
