Are you interested in becoming an apprentice?

An apprenticeship will enable you to gain and develop a range of skills in your chosen area. You can choose from a wide range of different apprenticeships. They enable you to achieve nationally recognised qualifications which are recognised by employers. They provide a solid foundation for career progression and the achievement of higher level qualifications. There are two levels; an Apprenticeship which is equivalent to five GCSEs grade A-C and an Advanced Apprenticeship which is equivalent to two A Levels.

The apprenticeship programme takes up to a year to complete and will cover your underpinning knowledge and functional skills which will be taught one day a week at the college. The Certificate or Diploma in your subject area will be assessed in the workplace. Southwark College is able to offer a range of apprenticeship programmes working in partnership with local employers in various sectors.
