Southwark College is firmly committed to providing outstanding vocational training for people in our local community. We will help you to learn new skills, gain new qualifications and start you on your path to a successful career.
Whether you want to be successful in business, work in health and care, become a florist, an engineer, an athlete, a musician or a doctor or start one of hundreds of different careers open to you, we can help you to achieve your ambitions. We have partnered with a range of businesses to help you to improve your employment prospects. For example, the owners and management of the Shard of Glass give our students work experience and senior executives of Daimler AG recently met our engineering and business students to exchange experiences.
We are now able to provide vocational training and qualifications in a wider range of areas than ever before. Our brand new state-of-the-art hair and beauty salons and our new construction facilities will accept their first full-time intake of students shortly - would you like to be part of this exciting new venture? If so, then call us now to arrange an interview.
We have a great range of new training facilities that provide real work environments for students to train for qualifications in hospitality & catering, floristry, personal training, sports therapy, hairdressing, beauty therapy, construction and much more. These facilities have been sponsored by Sellar, the developers of The Shard, and Southwark Council. Moreover we have direct links to employers who will be recruiting staff to work in The Shard and are working closely with us, so not only will you get training but we'll improve your prospects of employment too.
