Southwark College is a place where you will be supported in your individual journey to career success and we encourage you to help others along the way.

We know that our learners trust Southwark College to support them to achieve their unique career goals. We also know that fitting in and finding friends who are like you helps immensely in your ability to succeed.

Listed below are some of the many clubs/activities that are available for all learners at Southwark College:

  • Common room games and playstation
  • Basketball
  • Board games
  • End of term events and parties
  • Trips
  • Street dancing classes
  • Equality and Diversity events to celebration different cultures etc

You could even join the Students’ Union and help organise these events.

 The fully equipped gym, modern common rooms (With sofas, study tables and Macs) and the friendly environment are available to all learners regardless of what you are studying.

 There are plenty of opportunities to make a positive contribution to the local community through the Aspire initiative, and other voluntary programmes. You can also become a course representative and work in partnership with staff to influence College policies and make recommendations about how your College is run.

To get involved you can speak to one of the College’s Enrichment Officers based at Waterloo, Bermondsey and Camberwell Centre.
